Hayden and his blanket

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, phone cameras aren't the best, but here is my grandson and the angora blend blanket I made for him:

This blanket will not be used as his regular blanket. Not because it isn't safe, but because the cats love it and keep trying to spirit it away! So it will be used as a travel blanket to use as a shield when my daughter has to nurse him when away from home.

Beautiful (blanket and the baby both) Is this the BFL-angora blend roving, then? With a silk trim? Looks wonderful

Yes, it is the BFL/Angora blend I got from you, plus some Angora/Kid Mohair I got from Dustin, and the trim is Satin Angora (from Luke) blended with Tussah Silk. Thank you!

such a beautiful child. I love babies! He looks so peaceful, and the blanket is awesome, too.

Congratulations Janet! What a handsome young man and his blanket turned out magnificent. The body of the blanket looks like a high percentage of angora...it's nice to see the halo. I love Somerhill BFL and have been blending some of it with angora as well. It's nice to see how it blooms even when blended. I'm so sorry that the project got a tad bit discouraging for you on the one list. I glad you persevered.
